4.Week 4—Read p. 143-152 in Roblyer and Doering book. Describe 3 kinds of material generators that you have used or would like to use in your classroom. Be specific about how you would use the tools.
Material generators: Help teachers and students produce instructional materials on paper and online. Material generators include desktop publishing software, web page editors, whiteboard activity software, test generators and rubric generators, worksheet and puzzle generators, IEP generators, graphic document markers, and PDF and form markers. I would like to use the following generators in my classroom: desktop publishing software, worksheet and puzzle generators, and graphic document markers. One of the main reasons that I would like to use a desktop publishing software is to help me add text and graphics on newsletters that I can send out to my parents by keeping them informed about what's going on in our classroom. By using the worksheet and puzzles, this would allow me to create puzzles and worksheets for skill practice. Last but not least, graphic document markers. I would use this to recognize students for outstanding work that they have accomplished in my classroom.
